Worldyards is a web-based information and analytical system containing all relevant commercial, technical and management information about active merchant shipbuilders worldwide. As of today, Worldyards contains databases of 359 shipbuilders in 35 countries, 961 beneficial owners with vessels on order, 7976 orders of merchant vessels, 209 conversions, 6451 designs, 77 design houses and 2886 shipping/shipbuilding news entries.

In a single login, the members can:

- Obtain accurate information on a shipbuilder's history, facilities, track record, corporate structure, standard designs, orderbook as well as practical information, such as layouts of and travel tips for getting to the shipyards in question.
- See technical and commercial details of vessels that are on order as well as view and track contract details, re-sales, delivery, sales and demolition.

Worldyards can hence be used as a powerful research tool. Vital statistics, such as orderbook/existing fleet ratios, age profiles of the fleet, delivery schedules, rankings of shipbuilders/shipbuilding nations, etc. are all available at the user's finger tips. The other unique feature of Worldyards is the ability to track building capacity of individual shipbuilders and new developments.
